The club outfit gives the impression that we are dressed a little loose, while looking very good. Therefore, if you are going out to meet friends, have a beer in a bar, go on a date, or even on some more formal occasions, in a club outfit you will be seen as a stylish man who knows how to dress up.

The history of the club blazers is linked to the tradition of the of rowing clubs in England in the 19th century. At the time, rowing clubs competed against each other in competitions and needed uniform, easily recognizable apparel. Around 1880, some standardization began to appear and the navy blue color was adopted as the most appropriate color for the club jacket. It was a subdued and elegant color that blended well with other colors and was easy to style.
In order to distinguish themselves from other clubs, rowing clubs began using coats of arms on breast pockets and piping in different colors. Thus, each club had its own unique club blazers that represented its identity and connection to tradition.
Navy Blazer - past and present
The Navy Blazer is considered versatile and easy to style, so it is often chosen as a an element of club wear. However, this is not the only element required. Depending on the club and its traditions, there may be other attire requirements, such as specific colors for pants, shirts or accessories. There is a lot in common with the Navy Blazer club jacket. Common features include:

- navy blue color,

The club blazer differed from the blazers by its colored piping, patch chest pocket and one row of buttons. It is not clear how exactly the combination of blazer and gray flannel pants, but it was probably due to practical reasons. The gray color of the pants was neutral and went well with navy blue, and flannel was a low-rotting, well-insulating and durable material. Some people think that any shade of blue and gray is acceptable when paired with a blazer, but in our opinion, elements such as navy blue, gold buttons and a patch chest pocket are essential for this outfit to be called a club outfit.
History of the regimental tie
One important element of club attire is a striped tie called a regimental tie. Such a tie is essential to create a complete club outfit, which will go well with a navy blue blazer and gray flannel pants.
Striped ties also have their roots in 19th century England and are a sign of membership in a regiment, school or association. Traditionally, the straps ran in the direction from the right shoulder to the left hip, not from the left shoulder to the right hip. This small detail differentiates traditional ties, associated with membership in a particular club, from their commercial versions.
Commercialized regimental tie
As we mentioned, the regimental tie was commercialized and thus the so-called "stripes" were created. Coats of arms were removed from the ties, and belts were let go in the other direction. Wearing ties in which the belts had the same arrangement as English regimental ties, indicating membership in a particular club, would not be very appropriate (certainly then if you are going to a meeting with the English).

Then we dress in a certain way because it is our style, we have reached a certain level and we want to maintain it. We want our success story to be supported by appropriate attire.

In our opinion, at a wedding we want to honor the bride and groom, so we should dress formal. A club outfit is a suitable outfit for a club where you smoke a cigar, drink whiskey, play poker or play chess. Of course, we will still look better and more appropriate at a wedding in a club set than in a short-sleeved shirt and short tie. However, we do not recommend a club set for a wedding or reception, because it is not worth too much combination here, and it is best to opt for a suit preferably in navy blue.
